Methods to judge whether the clutch master pump is broken:
1. Check whether there are oil stains on the appearance of the master pump and the slave pump. If there are oil stains, it means there is leakage;
2. Observe the length of the slave pump push rod by stepping on the clutch pedal. Too little means there is pressure relief, or the slave pump rod returns to its original position when the slave pump rod is pushed out, which also means there is pressure relief.
The clutch master pump refers to the part connected to the clutch pedal and connected to the clutch booster through the oil pipe. Its function is to collect pedal stroke information and separate the clutch through the booster. When the driver steps on the clutch pedal, the push rod pushes the master pump piston, increasing the oil pressure, entering the slave pump through the hose, forcing the slave pump pull rod to push the separation and push the release bearing forward; when the driver releases the clutch pedal, the hydraulic pressure is released, and the release fork gradually returns to its original position under the action of the return spring, and the clutch is in the engaged state again.
